I was told that it is Falcon who supply the frames, can't verify it though... they're quite coy about the provenance.

Most mass produced frames are supplied by the same handful of asian factories. I guess it's whether ebc design their own frames or use someone else's design?

One of the frames they use, or did use, was that also used on a Claude Butler hybrid I had a few years ago

The fortifies the earlier point about Falcon, as they (Falcon) make CB bikes.

frame of the alloy Country Explorer is identical to that of an old Ali Dawes Horizon but with disc drop outs. Using other people's obsolete designs is a trick as old as the second bicycle ever made.

I believe the "Courier" range(same as yours) are the CB one's MP mentioned.
I've got one too - it's my commute to work/canal path bike now, has done 4000+ miles and still going strong. :becool:
On the EBC website there were old review's on the "Courier" where one of the cycle magazines reviewers mentioned which CB frame it was(I think).
