Has anyone got one? I am looking for something to replace my old hybrid that I use to do my shopping/general run about. I like the idea of the simplicity.
Any thoughts?

I've got the 2011 model with rim brakes and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Done 3500 miles of commuting on it and it's virtually bullet proof.

Here for rides.
It's an EBC Revolution bike for 300 beer tokens so likely to put a smile on your face and be stunning vfm IF, and only IF, you are happy with the sales and aftersales/warranty model.

(I am, I've had three EBC own brand bikes)

Others will tell you not to touch it with a barge pole and will supply equally anecdotal evidence in support of that view.

Bought it so it is now N+1 = 4. have not been out on it yet apart from riding it home from EBC as I have no lights for it.
Thanks for all the replies. Andy.

Hope I see it in the car park soon.

And you really do back on to my estate too^_^

Minor thread resurrection but I've been reading through the reviews! I have a 2011 EBC Courier Race which I've ridden to work on every day for the last couple of years and it's fantastic! I don't think you can get a better bike for the money and I think the paint jobs on this years models (disc and non-disc) look better than ever

EBC have a habit of putting their own brand bikes on sale fairly frequently so I reckon if you keep an eye on the site you could have the base model for well under £300 and the disc version for not much more than that.

Yes I paid £299 for the disc version. Its a bit heavy after riding the Cannondale but it is what it is. I use it for shopping and general run around.
