Hi all,
Because i have a boring blackberry phone,i cannot run srava,so following some advice on here i have downloaded the"edmondo"app.
Its basic but i have to say its made the daily commute interesting.
I have found myself trying to beat myself.
So to sum up.I can see if my times are improving, thus its a good form of training.

you can use Strava on a blackberry see thread 'enmondo or map my ride' I started I got some good advice and you use a program called 'gpsspeedometer' and it pretends to be the iphone app on the website. If you are happy with what you are using though carry on but I'm soooooooooo addicted to Strava

You can also export the GPX file on the Endomondo website and import it into the Strava website.

Just a little bit long winded but it does work.

I've been using endomondo for a while but the last few months just blindly recording most journeys and not looking at stats on the website. Recently they have made some of the stats options premium membership only, so I can no longer see how my average pace (for running and cycling) has changed over time.

Naughty endomondo! And of course now I've got over a year of rides/runs saved so it would be a big task to export them to some other service that has more functions in the free version.

I've half a mind not to bother with gps recording any more as its mainly only commutes and I've got this amazing device called a "watch" to check my journey times. Just annoying that I've got a few epic long rides with high speeds and big elevation changes that I want to save for posterity.
