Funny thing about the Archers. Despite never ever listening to more than five minutes of it, I can still whistle the theme tune. It is also forever associated with Crackle1's birth as the consultant cheerfully told everyone what happened in that nights episode as he wrenched Crackle1 out with the forceps: I don't remember what he said happened though.

cue screech of tyres, sound of scrunching bones.....'tis well known that nothing gets said on the Archers that isn't at some time in the future, turned in to low comedy or lower tragedy. The boy's days are numbered.
