A great woman, unfortunately the sexism continues in cycling, more so than virtually any other sport.

I remember when she got her MBE in the late 1970's, used to write a column in "cycling" as well.

She enjoyed a very long life. If she hadn't been a cyclist she might've gone twenty years earlier.
