Electric bike

With my bad back and dodgy hips, was thinking of getting a electric bike. Any body tried them? Any good ?

I'm certainly the man who has done thousands of ebike miles, and the man who can bore for England about ebikes.

With my bad back and dodgy hips, was thinking of getting a electric bike. Any body tried them? Any good ?

As above, thousands of miles on my two and lots of excellent cycling adventures I wouldn't otherwise have experienced.

Most people who try an ebike like it, but like ordinary bikes, there are some dreadful contraptions available.

Buy one of those and, just like a cheap and nasty pushbike, you will be unlikely to get much use or pleasure out of it.
