Hi folks
If you switch providers, and both accounts are in credit (bot my gas and electrickery are, I just checked) has anyone ever had any probs with that credit being carried over to new provider, if you make a switch (as I might do).
Thanks in anticipation.

Never done it, but I'd be very surprised if they didn't just refund you any credit when you switch, then let you give the cash to your new rapacious, profiteering swine.

Thanks folks
I could save 287yr by going with Scottish Power (currently EON), but ScP get terrible reviews on moneysupermarket.com

Have a moan at your current (ho-ho) supplier.

They will probably put you on a better rate which will make switching hardly worth it.

Just been on the blower to them.... they can save me 168/year, and ScotPower (now) up to 333, according to uSwitch

Here for rides.
How does one get into credit for gas from BG without actually signing over your entire salary each month?

I swapped last night to Scottish Power Fixed Term March '15 from BG. Best deal according to Which and uSwitch.

You could stick that question on Mastermind and no one would be able to answer it!

I've been with a fixed contract with Scottish power for a few years, even switched traffic last year. No issues with them and you just regularly enter your meter readings on line, so your bills are bang upto date.
