My brother-in-law has a barn/holiday home nr Machynlleth, which doesn't have running water. He gets his water from a tap in the village. When you have to 'work' to get your water, you realise just how precious it is and you're extra careful not to waste it.

You are not joking Train! If I cycle into the Berwin's and try to phone my family in England on a mobile, I might as well shout for all the reception you get!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

There's a few people I know who do use a mobile but by the way they shout into it, paying for the phone call is a waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
