On a more serious note, and not a criticism

There was a similar charity some years ago (Re-cycle?) renovating ex PO bikes

The problem was complexity

In third world countries and especially in remote areas hub gears and derailleur gears are a major issue when it comes to spares and repairs

I've decided to appeal to Mrs FF's 'Charitable' side ....

I've always hankered after an ex R. Mail bike and I could do with a townie load lugger .... and I did just get a 3.5% pay rise ....
