View attachment 124566 That handle bar tape needs to go. It's worse than the stuff I have on my Soens!

There is a knack for setting the cyclone Benelux rear derallieur. Have done the 2 on my Royal Enfield zephyrs. Got 4 out of 5 until I realised there is also a spacer that you may need to move or even remove. Send me a message and I'll take you through it if you are having problems.

Must say that would sure look good between my zephyrs.

About 15 or 16 years ago my dads Peugeot bike was stolen while he was at work, and a friend of his gave him this bike, but it just sat at the back of our garage ever since. I dug it out recently and gave it a clean and polish. My dad said it originally had yellow mudguards but that they crumbled apart. Its also missing some decals. After cleaning it up I have identified all the parts as follows:

Elswick Lincoln Imp 1958 #21998 'X'- MADE IN BARTON ON HUMBER, ENGLAND
.....
I know its over 3 years since your original post but while looking on the internet to get the seat post size I found this useful. I have a 1961 Imp, sky blue where yours is yellow.
What did you do with the bike in the end?
