I've spotted what appears to be Arch in the area to the west of there before, but that was a while ago.
It's open again, with a restricted width to keep heavy vehicles off. If it was closed to bike, that guy will have had a nasty long detour on his commute for the last few weeks...
'what appears to be Arch' - what was it about the appearance that suggested it was me?
How much doubt was there?
I like it round there, nice and flat, although there's a dearth of cafes, and the road back through Elvington isn't the nicest - trafficy, and a terrible surface in places.
On the way out to Seaton Ross, my friend missed the left turn, but thankfully having ridden around the area a bit I was fairly sure the next left would take us there, although it wasn't signposted. And I was right! Hoorah for cycling....
