Hello there.

I'll be quick, are all of the U.S.C 2256 codes legal in this country?? I am referring to the 2256 exemption code used for Nudist sites.

Thanks.

Depends which country you mean... IANAL but if you mean the UK my guess would be not as USC stands for United States Code. I don't know what 2256 refers to and whether there is a similar law here.

I'm in the UK, yes.

I wont say what I saw other than it was 'nudism', but not anything of a sexual nature, and it had a U.S.C. code with it.

It is just that I was told by a Policeman years ago that anything with a U.S.C. code would be legal in the UK because it has been checked by the F.B.I.

What I want to know is, what are the technicalities behind all of these codes??

Clarity please, no amateur dramatics.

Can't say about the codes you mention, I've never heard of them but no matter what the FBI or any other institution might say as regards to the legality of a site I should think the ONLY law you would need to be concerned about is the one here in the UK.

If it is a genuine site promoting naturism I doubt very much that anything contained on their web pages would give you cause for concern.

I've no doubt that some dubious sites might promote themselves as being linked to naturism in general but I would think it would be apparent pretty fast if you were being led down paths you wouldn't want to tread.

We can only guess, MDB.

Have you been looking at stuff on t'Interweb that could get you arrested under UK law and you are desperately seeking a get out of jail card?

UK law is not modified by US law.

Well, yes, that's what I thought and it does seem perfectly genuine, it isn't porn, it just seems to be pictures taken at nudist sites and so on.

I find this highly unlikely. The law of England and Wales is not determined by the FBI.

This is Scotland and he was one of the peeps who deal with internet things.
Besides, I'd have thought that if it was the FBI, then it would be fairly water tight, they aren't going to pass something blatantly illegal, are they?

Maybe you are right and I'm going to get my door kicked in by the Police soon and then appear in the local rag as a 'Sex beast'.
