On the way home a bloke wound down his van window next to me, pointed to the jersey and said "That really made me smile" so it's having a positive effect already!

Regarding the picture taken by her while speeding, there is a 14 day limit between the date of the alleged offence and the police issuing a "Notice of Intended Prosecution" which must be adhered to. This applies to things like speeding, driving without due care, running red lights &c.

If there is a collision which results in injury however, a NIP is not required.

I'm not. "Failing to stop" is a serious charge and IME they will always pursue it if they think they can prove it. That can be difficult - you have to show a) that the driver knew there had been an accident and b) that someone was, or was likely to have been, injured - but in this case the tweet will see them home and dry. Even if the accident was not her fault, I can't see that she has a defence to the FTS charge.

I concur, he also has a witness. That lawyer of hers was a right smug tw@t
