well, according to the Radio 5 rumour mill, he wants to go back to Arsenal. Will Arsene the Wise offer Mancini 25 million sovs, or will he offer half that and confirm what we all know - that there are few cannier operators in the transfer market than He Who Did Not See The Incident and no bigger mugs than Manchester City? (see Lescott, various dodgy Brazilians and Kolo Toure....)

although you could probably add wayne bridge to the city list, but as for wenger bringing campbell back after all this time and arsenals total lack of silverware of late, not so canny now eh?

and i dare say he'll make a pretty penny on the likes of fabregas and nasri, but whilst keeping the bank manager happy is very important at a football club so is winning titles!! would it not be better to still have adebayor, henry, toure and cole?

Cole aside you could argue he had the best of them and still made a profit.
