Hi all, I hope this is the right place to put this post.
I have just acquired and Emperor Sport from a friend, he said it was built for him by Mick Coward in 1998, although from what I have read I think think Mick wasn't building bikes full time by then, so the frame may be earlier.
The original owner is a guy called Ian Bedford who used to compete locally (Surrey) in Road Racing and Time Trials. The build includes Campagnolo Athena Headset, Campag' Scirroco Wheelset , Volece groupset. Ian said he is sure it was an 853 frame (not sure about the forks) . (Reynolds 853 first relased in 1995)
Its been used as a winter bike for some years and is in need of some TLC but its all pretty good under the grime. (Not even had time to clean it yet) The frame number is Emp.712
Can anyone tell me if there are any build records available for Emperor Sports?
(Photos of the bike are as I obtained it.)
Any help would be most welcome.
