Enamelling

I have had a ball park estimate to have my Hill Special re-enamelled , £80 for one colour , It seems a bit cheap to me , the Fothergill was more than twice than that for a paint job ,
anyone have any idea on prices for this type of re finishing ?

Cheers for that , I'd say it's about the same then give or take , the one O contacted is in Windsor so no couriers to pay for , but I suppose B Jackson specialise in Cycles , so worth consideration

I have had a frame finished by Bob Jackson, it was a good job, I have also had one finished by Ellis Briggs, equally as good, but they are both at the wrong end of the country for you.

I would be wary of having it done by a non-bike outfit, the threads need protecting and often chased out after finishing.

@ozboz I have been looking for someone down south to refinish my peugeot frame and came across this company. http://www.colour-tech.co.uk/ I haven't had any dealings with them but I may be tempted to give them a call in the new year. Had my Fothergill done at Colour Tech , pain in the bum to get to from here , this mob in Windsor come recommend, but a bit cheap , I'll go and see them ,
They do varied stuff , motor bike and scooter restorations etc ,
