Thanks for that  funny, it works for me though, yours just takes me to the homepage, I guess it's because I'm logged in.
I shall change that in my sig too

I don't know about anyone else, but my Endomondo News Feed is full of people being friends with other people this afternoon. I can almost feel the love. ^_^

I'm sure you are I've just had a bad experience before, not related to endomondo, so I am extra careful! As the thing I like most about endomondo is the live tracking I'm not going to stop that, especially not after crashing and realising exactly how useful it can be!

I don't think there is a way around adding as friends unfortunately. I must admit I'm a little paranoid myself so I've removed the live tracking from my workouts with all the new "friends" being accepted.

Just a thought Trio, but with regards your desire to keep live tracking but remain hidden, I do a similar thing so that my Wife can see where I am if she wishes.
She just logs into Endo as me, and then can view my progress which is restricted to "only me" in settings. That any use to you?
Oh, and get well soon, sorry to hear of your collar bone, hope all is well

Yep, it's a tricky one. Endomondo really need to add groups of friends as a feature, so you could have CC firends who couldn't see live tracking (and couldn't see maps if you wanted that too), and another group of close friends who could.

Also, on the issue of paranoia (goodness knows why, I can't imagine why anyone would be interested in my location. If someone wanted to steal my bike they could just as easily see me and knock me off it rather than go to the effort of cyber-stalking me.), how about you do not start your workout from your doorstep and do not do the same one on the same days..?

NeoCaesar, it's not my bike I'm worried about, it's me. I suspect most women have a stalker at least once in their lives. I've had several, and then there was a guy at a mall once who asked me the time, and then an hour later asked me for coffee. I realised he'd been following me from shop to shop. It makes you not want to leave a trail.

However, I've decided Ben and Chris are probably safe :-) and anyway, I need my cycle chat challenge fix ... http://www.endomondo.com/profile/2859253

This just shows my macho-centric way of thinking -I automatically presume that MOST cyclists pursuing cycling as a form of fitness are men. Terrible, I know. It's purely because I have not yet met a roadie woman. *SIGH!* :-)

I've sent out invites to the new additions to my friends list for the current challenge. Apologies, I hadn't realised I'd missed you all.

A quick note though, I've had a few friend requests on Endo but I've no way of telling if it's CC members or not so I have to delete them. Please PM me (or BenB) if you want to join and have sent a friend request (established CCers only) otherwise there's the other Monthly challenge
