Well, I did start a second challenge series, that's an invite only and is restricted to my friends list. Nothing sinister, it was just nice having a challenge where I wasn't 6 pages back. with just one page, that can't happen
I don't want to befriend everyone though as my paranoia won't allow me to let people I don't "know" see where I live & work, travelling times etc

I don't know what the answer is with the regular challenge, I did change the comments box to try and attract some of the participants to the forum and I know we're had one, but I'm not aware of any more.
I also did request that people change their Endo names to their CC one (easily done with the edit button top right) but very few seem to do it.

Any thoughts? seems mean to restrict it too much and the current setup could draw more people on to the forum but I can't help but suspect that some of those mileages may not be entirely genuine.
Should it be join by request only? and CC user names only?

Happy with either of these options - might be worthwhile starting a new thread letting people know.

Can't we have a closed group open only to genuine CC members or is it not that simple ?

As far as I'm aware, the only way of doing that is to have everyone on CC on the persons friend list who sets the challenge. That's the way it works on the alternative challenge, maybe we need a similar system?
I guess it's pretty stupid of me to be paranoid about people viewing my data, if it's genuine CC members then it doesn't matter and I can't see any bike theives joining CC purely to then join Endo and lie in wait for me to nick my battered old commuter...

I'll start a new thread, and get a list together of CCers and names and get on it
That way if any regular participants are looknig for the challenge next Month, their first port of call will be the forum

Fair enough, I guess some people may prefer a little more anonymity anyway. If there's a list of who's who then it shouldn't matter anyway.

Well I think "one post one visit Sam" is trying to get as many of the top 10 or 20 of the proper Endomondo Challenge participants (you know the out of this world miles people) to join the CC Challenge to humilate S Mann (S Mann I think is a CC'er)

not 1 post 2 this makes 3 i just dont find the time to chat on a forum as I cycle to much but i am a keen cyclist since i found cycling last may, it was just banter, nothing more than that, I thought that cc might have enjoyed a whole new load of cyclists that could join the cc boards as they are all good guys we all do it just for the fun, nothing more than that
