I've been fairly lazy recently, and not using the bike as much as I should have been.

Then I got into an argument with a bus on Friday.

So I think I'll be using the bike for quite some time.

Fortunately nobody was hurt.

Shame I've not even finished paying for the car yet. ;)

Oh well, hopefully it will get written off, and I'll have enough to pay off the loan, buy a cheeper car and n+1 on the bike.

(Yeah, right)

I was waiting at a junction to turn right, the road was clear apart from a bus approaching from my right which was indicating to turn into the road I was pulling out of.

He might have been indicating, but he wasn't actually turning. Stupid me. I usually wait until people actually start to turn before pulling out, but I didn't that time.

Ironically it wouldn't have happened if I'd been on the bike, because I would have assumed that he was indicating on purpose to make me pull out so that he could run me over. I always assume that everybody is out to kill me when I'm on the bike. ;)

At least I'm fully comp, so even though it's me that's "at fault" (because I pulled out and he hit me), I'll get my car repaired or get some cash.

I got a really good overtake from a bus driver today; whilst he was passing giving me plenty of room a ned/chav decided overtake the bus and even when the bus put his right indicator on the idiot still continued on a road that isn't that wide. It could have been pretty nasty but because the bus had given me so much room and he held his position forcing the idiot into the verge slightly it wasn't.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I had a great one the other day got overtaken by one of the industrial skip lorries so close that i hollerd at him .

Overtook him at the lights where upon he decided to follow me up the road , overtook then stopped and try to assault me as i went past

Like a fat lorry driver had a chance of actually catching me , although i have studied wing chun for many years i wonder what could have happened......

Not worth the hassle though who ever won

Cycled to work without incident (as usual) but I was pretty careful of buses.

Going to have a lot of cycling to do, go and clear the crap out of the car, go and get a replacement MOT certificate (I lost it, d'oh!) then go to the cop shop and show them the replacement MOT certificate.

Apparently despite them being able to tell with a computer if I've got an MOT or not, I have to actually show them the bit of paper as well.

Oh well, at least it's more time on the bike. ;)
