Doubtful unless someone tried to mow you down in one. Many around here have cameras on them already

Right, but they look like specific locations rather than town/city wide.. can the council enforce their entire area or just these locations?
Can the police still enforce box junctions where the local highways authority has been given these new powers?

Best asking the council for the exact position on things.

Yes, unlikely though, has it's a penalty fine, and not points on licence. Unless an accident takes place because a driver stopped in a yellow box illegally.

Technically yes, dependent on the markings and their legal status, but they won't. That's the whole point of it being devolved to the loaal authority in the first place. Gives the police more time to deal with people that say something unkind on X.
