English but want Ausies to win The Ashes

I'm sort of with Ludwig. I desperately want England to stuff the Aussies, but I was always very happy when the West Indies thrashed England - which is probably a South London thing. And I love to see Wales beat England at Rugby Union.

This is all just a cunning ruse. England will win the series 3-2 and make history.

Once that's happened, the old guard (so to speak) can be on their way, and England can look forward to a few years of mediocrity whilst the current youngsters improve and some new talent is developed. Realistically, this can only be achieved by doing away with the abomination of limited overs cricket.

I see what you're saying, but disagree with the use of "legends". That's not a dig, I just feel the word is chucked about far too hastily in the sporting world these days.

I know a lot of people involved with Rugby League who loathe the sport of Rugby Union because they see it as an hooray Henry game, misguided in my opinion but I can't persuade them otherwise.
