While there are plenty of things wrong and right in the USA and vice versa in the UK (would love to live in a country that combines the best of both!) the one thing I do notice here is more responsible dog ownership. Well, actually, I should say dog ownershi*.
Dog owners over here really do keep their dogs on a leash more often than not, and usually do pick up after them too. I will say it's nice cycling through a park (or even walking on the pavement or trails) without having to onerously keep your eyes open looking for land mines.
