No and tother one was horrid too...........landing on a stump with new branch shoots is rather painful but I can confirm they do rip you a new one when you don't need two

Oh it certainly did.......hospital were more interested in the bit that went into my shoulder though, but luckily all wounds were flesh and none touched bone so a lucky crash...if there is a lucky crash

If you watch the slomo its the rear tyre that fails and causes all the carnage

And there was me thinking it was caused by an idiot going straight down a mountain on a bicycle...

Not alot you can do when the frame fails, can you take it back and claim a warranty replacement?
But, why wasnt he wearing a full face helmet, or motorbike helmet?

Got to agree, If you are going to do Motorbike speeds, you should be wearing motorbike levels of protection...like this chap who attained a much higher speed in a much shorter distance realistically than any motorcycle....he was also wearing an identical pair of motorbike boots and similar C/F lid to mine

You wouldn't want it to leak when you are sat on it...he then pedalled it back to the start line

The difference is that I could go and do that speed any day of the week with what I use as a daily ride on a long enough stretch of road without the requirement for a team of chemical handlers, flame proof knickers and a couple of years to prepare for it
