Firstly sorry for not taking any pictures, I felt it would have been a bit rude.
In my hunt for local Genesis stockists I found the details of a bike shop about 15miles down the road in a place called Fishbourne, just outside Chichester.
The place was called Barreg Cycles and is based out of an old cottage i think? I walked in and was instantly overwhelmed by the lack of Specialized, Giant and Cannondale bikes, this pleased me very much!
I made my intentions clear upon arrival that I was interested in seeing a CDF in the flesh, unfortunately they didn't have one but they did spring out a Day One and a couple of other Genesis bikes they had. The chap then took me on a never ending tour of the shop showing me some new and used bikes and frames if I was interested in a project. The bikes were simply stunning, especially the numerous Colnago and De Rosa bikes! I didn't know a bike could be so pretty! I also spotted one of those new Holdsworth bikes, this was the orange one and whilst I'd seen it online it was even better in the flesh.
The chap (who I assumed was the owner) spent a good 25-30mins just chatting about the history of the bikes and the brands, it was truly fascinating. Eventually my wife (who had been waiting in the car) came in and dragged me away, I felt bad for not buying anything but assured him I would be back in with my old Raleigh for some parts.
If anyone happens to be passing Chichester way and is at a loose end, look up this bike shop and go and check it out. I promise you will not be disappointed.
