Epoxy Resin repair on Carbon frame

The cost of the materials is low. The expensive part in a professional repair is the labour. It isn't especially difficult to produce a functional repair but producing something that is also aesthetically acceptable takes a lot of skill and time - which is what makes it expensive.

I've done a repair. Carbon fibre matting and resin. Came off the bike in a race and noticed a crack in the seat tube going from the top downwards for about six inches. I'd already written off a carbon frame and didn't want this to be the second. It wasn't a pretty repair but it worked. That was god knows how many years ago and it's still good to this day 👍
