Just had my new car insurance quote in from the broker I've been using for over twenty years and it's gone up by over 40% from last year.
Same car, same boring driver, low mileage.
Looks like a wee while with Compare the Meerkat.com and an interesting 'phone call - !

Every couple of years you need to shop around to keep your current insurer keen to keep you

Seems to me that just having a record of swapping round at least every few years reduced the amount they want

The days of "loyalty pays" is so long gone that it long ago went over the horizon!
