Paracetamol crushed up and mixed with sardines and left out in your garden. Problem sorted.

Mind you, I may be a little biased as I hate cats with a passion.
Hating cats with a baseball bat would be more effective

My parents used to mix an entire container of pepper with some water, then use a sprayer to apply to various parts of the garden. Apparently did no harm to plants etc, and doesn't leave any smell that we could detect, but puts off cats (and dogs) that enter. Mind you, this is a childhood memory - I know they did it, but don't know how well it worked!

If you know any family or friends that have a dog, invite them round and let the dog piss all over your garden. That can put cats off too.

Been moaning about the same thing for the past few weeks and the final straw was when mowing the lawn last weekend and going over a few piles of crap and the smell making me heave :cursing:.

Popped over to Mum & Dad's and Dad had taken advantage of pensioners day at B&Q to buy me one of these

It's been in place for a week now and no more piles of crap on the lawn!!!

Early days but seems to work nicely

Cats are evil and all must die.

Wish our 2 would, they're about 18 and 19 now and the fuggers will not do the decent thing and peg it.

That looks interesting - keep the mess away without causing any harm to the cats. Win - win.

Worth a try but the sonic repellents don't work with all cats - allegedly white cats are deaf to the noise?. Sadly it didn't work for me but I know others who've had good results with them.

When I see the cat in the garden I will let the dogs out after it - a whippet and a greyhound and they soon chase it off. Trouble is then they will eat the sh*t if I don't see where the cat has been and cleared it up
My Saluki & Greyhound adore cat poo. One of them darted in our old neighbours place and grabbed some poo from the litter tray. I think that he likes the 'sprinkles'.

I reckon that if you see the cat pooing and recognise it as the neighbours cat then you should be able to hoss it back over the fence.
Apparently you should put crushed eggshells around the borders of your garden as cats don't like them. Not sure how true this is, one of my customers told me that she saw it on savvy-scrimpers of something.

In terms of any advice to deal with the problem, please stick to humane ways to discourage the cat, not extinguish it!

I know people dislike cats and their "business" but advising they be dispatched for it is overdoing it a bit, so please don't.

Thanks,
Shaun

No, it's covered and it's definitely cat's....the dirt is all scuffed up and the pile is next to it. It's been thrown through the hedge into nextdoors garden now

Sounds like a polite & clean cat to me, what's the problem?

No that's animal I was glad to see die. My mother had one and asked me to look after it when she went on holiday. The first time I let it off the leash, it shot off and rubbed it's hairy, snouty head, then body, in every pile of shoot it could find. :cursing:
