Eton Dorney Anyone

Right. Been tasked by my riding buddy to plan a 2hr ride tomorrow, which means about 20 miles or so with a coffee stop. I reckon Staines to Eton Dorney is doable, circa 11 miles each way. I gather there is a café by the rowing lake on Village Road, anybody know if it's any good?

I've been there but not for a while (delivered there a lot) its attached to Dorney Court it's a sort of garden centre cafe place usually busy especially at the weekends do some lovely cakes used to be a little bit pricey but that may have changed. Wort a visit if your going to the lake tables and chairs outside (rain is forecast though so may be busier inside). Be careful of the lake police who will boot you out of your deemed to be raci g around the lake. Nice place though enjoy
