Congratulations are due re the increased coverage this year BUT
  • do you ever respond to emails?
  • do you plan to conform the information given re programme schedules across all the sources of such info?
  • is it too difficult to give the end time of programme in the cycling specific selection?
  • why does the login system require both user name and password on every login? What is the meaning of the "remember me" box?

It's bbc news that are the pain in my back side. They like to tell everyone one who won the Grand Prix before they actually show the race. And like just now. I'm not staying up all night to watch the tour of California but watching it on euro sport when it's re shown. Thanks bbc news now I no who won the time trial. Oh (spoiler alert)

Mod message not fair to put a spoiler in, and this isn't really a thread where the title should have 'spoiler' in it...

Eurosport do play very fast a loose with the schedules.
The programme bar will say womens tennis, but they will be showing cycling, or vica versa.
It's the nature of live sport to over run, but Sky Sports dont seem to suffer from this problem quite as much.

Eurosport have quite a job of managing a busy schedule of live sport, customer expectations and different television rights in different countries. On the plus side, eurosport is a very affordable and accessible service with no unreasonable restrictions applied to accessing it's online services. (some pay TV providers would like to restrict your viewing to a dedicated computer at the customer address connected to their own Internet service)

I'm just amazed at how much live cycling there is this year on Eurosport. It's almost back to back somedays.

I am however now about to cancel my android sub to Eurosport as I've gone back to having a Sky box so can tape all the cycling I need. Getting rid of Netflix too as I no longer seem to use it.

I have only just discovered that you can wind back Eurosport Player about 3 hours so if you start watching a couple of hours after the advertised time, you can usually find the coverage when it actually did start! WARNING If you do that, turn the sound off and cover most of the screen when doing so, or you could create your own spoiler!

You can also find recordings of much of the coverage in the videos section for a few days after the coverage was first broadcast.

Given that I watch their coverage for free from shonky feeds, I don't feel I can complain!

Have you tried their Twitter feed?

Some companies (Those who understand how it works) have realised that they have to deal with Twitter complaints pretty quickly since they are there for all to see.

However, I reckon you're not alone in getting frustrated with their service, so they may well just ignore everything and get on with doing what they can...

I'm a big fan of Eurosport and it was the one thing I missed when I ditched Sky a decade back. I've recently downloaded the Eurosport PC app and for £3.99 a month it is cracking value, all the cycling you need and the bonus of World and British Superbikes too, very welcome now the Beeb have thrown in the towel on Moto GP.

True, it can be annoying when the schedules change but it is done for the very good reason that they will stay with the event they are showing right to the end, we benifit as much as we lose by that.

Sky Sports rarely miss the start or over-run because they have an inordinate amount of 'expert analysis' before and after most things they show.
