I have enjoyed all the
Evans ones I've done. You don't get a pretentious number to stick on you and the bike, just a timing chip on your helmet and off you go. If you fancy changing route when you are out there, just let them know when you get back.
I did that Leeds route, 50 miles distance not long after I started. I was frozen and wrecked at the end

But they did a lovely Chilli at the end
