Had the misfortune of going to school with Andrew Gilligan – he was a right twat back then as well… he mostly talked bollocks back then as well…

1st PE lesson – we’re all 11 years old – teacher has us all lined up at one end of a field – Teacher: anyone got asthma or anything else I should know about? Surprisingly reasonable so far. Even the comments aren't any worse than some of the arguments on here. Although there aren't that many so I suspect it just isn't often visited.

Yes Andrew, that's what you would expect ( sensationalism ) if you print "Battle of motorists and cyclists".

Think. "Harmony of motorists and cyclists".... Nah, not good press.

Because they are still miserable and still jealous and still resentful ...

What are we all supposed to be jealous of? After all, think of all that road tax we're not paying ...

On the whole, they don't.

This is a 'paper selling' piece of anger incitement, dreamed up by a journalist who hasn't got anything else to do.

Another answer, directly to the idiot who wrote the article, is "because cycling journalists publish their criticisms of motorists".

It appears that there are some people who hate everybody.

On returning to my car after my 12 mile ride from work, I discover a nail had been knocked into one of my car's tyres.

Either, the bastard knows I'm a cyclist and that is the sole reason, or the bastard doesn't like other motorists using his ( council's ) road as a parking lot.

I would like to think it is the latter. Hatred for cyclists alone cannot be that intense ?????

I have now got to use one of the alternative parking places after getting this tyre changed.
Time and expense from the wicked maliciousness of a brainless, selfish country yokel.

Why does everyone hate cyclists.

Watching the Pasadena finish of the ToC, I notice the circuit route passed a golf course. The helicopter camera caught a group of kids running across the greens.

That's the last time Pasadena host the ToC.
