The Venue in Victoria London,in the 80's we used to sneak in through the fire exit & ladies toilets to see concerts for free.also the Lyceum in the strand, my mate worked there and used to let us in through Fire doors.i presume CCTV and modern alarm systems have stopped all this now.once we had to hide in the ladies toilets, as we were inside the venue ages before it opened to the public, taking shelter in the cubicle me and my mate became aware of the Ladies becoming rather busy when the venue was opened!! we had to brave it and both calmy walked out of the cubicle together!!!! it didnt look good !!!

Sneaked into the Hammersmith Odeon by the crew door and hid in the toilet's for about 4 hours.

During the early 90's I used to sneak Ianrauk Jnr into the terraces at Chelsea. But then again, most dad's with small kids did the same. The turnstiles were adult waist height so easy to get kids in underneath, more often then not the ticket collectors turned a blind eye.

Sneaked into my local cinema and sneaked rides on trains when a boy - we were too poor to pay so it seemed fair at the time

Cinema and trains here too, as a kid for the cinema, and trains mostly in 6th form, as most of my mates lived in the next town, and we used to go out boozing (and other shenanigans) on a Friday evening in their town. I'd borrow one of their travel passes to get there, then get train back later and hop over the fence at the side of the platform.

My grandad used to get me into Fratton Park through the side gates....he would have a word with the stewards and the gates would open lol

Back in the 70s, Newcastle United regularly (ie every other Saturday during the football season) opened the exit gates about ten miuntes after matches kicked off so that hapless students could shuffle in free of charge.

Us little gang of urchins in the mid 1950's would go to the pictures, all chip in to get one lad in officially who would then go and open the exit door by the toilets so we could all get in.

My mate was a marshal at silverstone for the Grand Prix back in the 90's and sneaked me in 2 years running for the whole weekend with access to virtually everywhere except the pits. I even got driven around the course on a bus as the marshals got dropped off at various points. The bus driver was making the most of it and was giving it some around the track.

I used to go to school in Glasgow on the old double-decker trams that had a driver's cab and stairs at both ends. If you were quick, you could avoid the conductor by going down the front stairs while he/she was coming up the back ones, and vice versa.

Worth doing in the days when the penny-halfpenny fare was more than enough to buy a bar of chocolate.

It's always been a big thing for me to do that. Even if I don't want to particularly see a band/film/match/event/show/festival, if there's an obvious freebie on offer, I'll take advantage of it.

Since the indoor smoking ban came in to effect, the opportunities to sneak in have grown massively. Another thing I like to do is to note the colour of wristbands where they're required and get to work at home on them. The weekend festivals are always a doddle to get away with that one!

And of course, there's always this!

Never sneaked in any where but didn't pay for buses - used to forge my monthly bus pass. Only bought 3 or 4 for my entire college education.
