Campag's issues are nothing to Cru about you know....

I think in my No.2 toolbox i have a maillard helicomatic freewheel removal tool that was also built to pull the caps off beer bottles . . .never used it but it was there when i might need it ...

I have one of those too, kindly donated by a fellow CCer when I needed it for its ?primary? purpose. I have cracked a few bottle tops off with it too.

I thought I'd been had over when I bought a Campag Nuovo Record rear mech and discovered it didn't change gear as well as the previous Sun Tour Cyclone. In its defence the Campag mech was absolutely bullet-proof by way of material and construction and lasted many years without developing any play - it's just the design had been superseded.
