It does look a bit peculiar, but she looked happy enough. I'd never get an animal put down unless it was suffering, and Kabang had a waggy old tail on her

That's one of the really good things about animals, if they can get by in life they are generally not at all concerned about their injuries and imperfections.

Kabang did seem very happy and much loved.
