An amazing piece of riding on an amazing machine. To suggest anyone other than a top level driver could get even remotely close to that sort of lap time in a car is utterly, utterly ridiculous. He is putting in average lap times at speeds you could only expect to post as outright top speeds. Even as an experienced motorcyclist (I rode big Italian and Jap race replicas at silly speeds until I was 35) I recognise that this bloke is on a completely different thinking and reacting plane to 99.9% of the driving/motoring public.

Closed road circuit racing may mean no oncoming traffic, but it still leaves roadside furniture, potholes, white lines, kerb edges, grates, general debris, cluttered sightlines.... need I go on?
Yes, he's great. He's very down to earth too and a great guy. I wish I could travel at these speed, but with a push bike, it's highly unlikely. Lol

The word "and" doesn't have a capital letter, nor is it used to start a sentence... my English is terrible, I know ;)

Perfectly acceptable to start a setance with 'And', as long as it is done for stylistic effect and not in ignorance.

It is not how the English language is meant to be used. I don't want to go on about it, though. Thanks for your opinion.

Mm, the following web sites disagree with you:
http://www.dailywritingtips.com/can-you-start-sentences-with-“and”-and-“but”/
http://www.businesswritingblog.com/business_writing/2005/11/but_its_okay_an.html

Got to the bottom of the first page on Google, but can't find any evidence yet to support your case.

A man in his late ages on the first link you provided has this to say about starting a sentence with "and" e.t.c

Why are we trying to altar the English language as we know it? I for the life of me can’t understand starting a sentence with however, and or but.
It appears to me that this follows the whole idea of dumbing us down to accomodate more people who find it too difficult to learn or teach.
Don’t tell me that some sentences in the Bible start with and or but because the Bible for the most part was written several thousand years ago and none of the writers spoke English!!!
Sorry but this just irritates me but then maybe it’s because I am too old.

Am I to understand that people wish to drag TLC away from his OT and the perfectly reasonable wish to admire the skill and ability of motorcyclists tackling the death-trap that is the TT course?
