Evri delivery

[lenfield]

I am getting some tyres delivered by Evri. Their delivery options include ParcelShop and Locker.
Could I use these if I've just got a 2G phone? Would I need to have a barcode scanned?

[Gunk]

You’ll need a proper smartphone to use the lockers

[Mad Doug Biker]

I don't think 2G would work now and tyres would not fit in the lockers anyway. Probably.

I asked a guy who delivers for Evri and he's sceptical in both accounts, although, if the locker is an option, then... 🤔

[Mad Doug Biker]

Hold on, do you mean bike tires? 🤦‍♂️😆🤔

The guy automatically thought you meant those for a car!

[Pat "5mph"]

Are they foldable bike tyres?
I don't think a rigid tyre would fit.

[MontyVeda]

the tyres would fit in a parcelshop though... and surely even a 2g phone is capable of displaying a bar/QR code for someone at the parcelshop to scan.

[Ming the Merciless]

Just print out any barcode in an email. Take that to be scanned.

A 2G phone only displays text.

A 2G phone only displays text.

If you print out the barcode from the email you wont need to use your phone at all.
