I have a 250 year old gable ended terraced home that has 9 insh thick solid walls extended to the rear with standard 2 brick cavity insulated.
I’m thinking of getting the front and gable end covered with EWI.
I know the brickwork underneath is 100% sound as I had it rendered probably 15 years ago(should have done it then but money was tight).
Has anyone on here had it done and what are your experiences both short and long term?
Cost savings on heat, possible cold bridges…?

"EWI is an effective way to protect a building from damp. It provides a barrier against moisture, improves airtightness, and when combined with ventilation offers the complete solution for any condensation/damp issues.9 Jan 2023"

I've no experience. I would expect it will need professional installation

It looks like both ventilation and airtightness requirements for successful job
