Excel Help for a Thickie

Is there an online guide if you have very little experience of creating a spreadsheet and all that sort of malarkey, one that can be understood by someone* who's hopeless with this sort of thing?

Any help gratefully received. Or just poke fun if you fancy.

Not an online source, but the [Excel] for Dummies books are very good despite the silly American name, particularly if you want to go beyond the very basics. I find a well laid-out book much easier to extract information from.

About a tenner from Amazon and a bit more in PCWorld etc.
