Been offered it for free, as an existing customer

Sadly though, it's NOT available for existing Sky broadband/TV customers (or if you've had 'em in last 12 months) – its aim is to attract a bigger market share. Here's how you get it:

THis is what gets me that "Loyal customers" get shafted all thetime.

I rarely renew anything atomatically without a fight

If there is an offer then I expect my renewal to match, or I go elsewhere / cancel

it is surprising how many times the offer suddeny becomes available.

I've got BT infinity (Fibre) at the minute and am getting increasingly hacked off at their constant demands for more money.
Mid contract they introduced charges for the previously 'free' BT Sport, so I now have to pay to watch the MotoGP (£9/month extra), and yesterday I got another email threatening that if I didn't sign up for another 12 months they'd remove my "loyalty discount" and I'd have to pay an extra £6.75 a month!
At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

It might be time to find a new provider - if only it wasn't such a faff...or maybe I'll just bin the sport off and watch the MotoGP highlights on ITV4 instead.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I have to threaten to cancel if i want owt from sky , should have seen the hoops i had to jump through to get fibre which gives me a max speed of 17 mbit due to distance to junction box.
