Thanks for feedback.
Have been keeping them in mind for those superbig ortlieb rears.
I love my longserving (20 years old or so, lead a tough life, look like new) rear ortlieb bikepacker pluses, but they are definitely small for my style (ie none) of packing.

It would be nice really if there was an outside pocket on the back rollers just for 1 or 2 little items. That’s why I bought the handle bar bag too

I’ll find out this weekend how well I’ve packed the panniers - I’m still learning how and what to pack!

I do rather like the bag that attaches to the seat post but I believe I don’t have enough post showing for those

you can retrofit outside pockets using an Ortleib kit.
You have to puncture the pannier as part of the fixing process but everything I have read suggests that this isn't as alarming as it sounds.
