Works as a booster, plug into one socket, plug adapter into any other socket in your house and puts out a wifi signal. I use one and it is brilliant!

I use wireless edimax range extenders one downstairs and another over to the garage on the other side of the road both work great take a bit of sorting out but well worth it

Seems strange PC world and Netgear would make/sell them being large companies! Oh well, haven't been sued for mine yet. No idea about legislation though.

Until the laws are clarified, those companies will continue to sell them!
