Stopping and waiting till the hazard passed you would have worked.
You chose to not respond appropriately to a hazard you were clearly aware of until dangerously late simply to make a point that will undoubtedly fall on deaf ears?
I fear this was the case. You chose to not respond appropriately to a hazard you were clearly aware of until dangerously late simply to make a point that will undoubtedly fall on deaf ears?
If I had been in a foul mood then I wouldnt have used my horn and just collided with him. Then given him a lashing about texting whilst cycling.Near miss? I was expecting a collision.
A near miss means that there was a collisionIf I had been in a foul mood then I wouldnt have used my horn and just collided with him. Then given him a lashing about texting whilst cycling.
Did noddy have a horn?
Or was it a bell?
On the matter of the OP, I agree that the horn blast and the yell were late and therefore inappropriate, but I like to see an OP accept that this was so and admit to human fallibility. We all get tired and ratty and some of us can be snappy at those times. A nice post from Matthew late in the thread saying that he hadn't done the right thing. That's a rare sight on these pages.
A bit harsh but there's some truth in thatSelf inflicted extremely close near miss.
You chose to not respond appropriately to a hazard you were clearly aware of until dangerously late simply to make a point that will undoubtedly fall on deaf ears?
Have you thought that if you were a tad more adult about it you might have made him think a bit more? rather than waiting till the last minute to maliciously scare the c**p out of him and leave him undoubtedly thinking nothing more than what a twit.
