Extremely close overtake

No helmet cam footage as I don't wear one , but tonight cycling down lea bridge road I was overtaken extremely closely by 3 Asian youths in the bus lane (b4 7pm) doing over 50 just to overtake 4 cars and move into the traffic on the right which was moving at about 15-20 mph. Caught up with the losers in a silver BMW (shock horror) and told them what I thiought only to be met by a torrent of abuse . Losers

I was really shaken up by it and completely livid as it was totally deliberate. The brainless youths seemed to think it was really amusing :-( I have to confess I told them where to go...

when I started commuting by bike, I threatened to ram a cabbies wing mirror up his arse!

Some drivers think someone else's safety is worth putting at risk just to save a few seconds.

Sometimes you need to let vent, although they probably do not care.

warm weather means the open top sports cars come out and in some parts of London that mean Asian wannabe gangsters giving it large

come out with me to West Ham in warm weather to see them in their stronglands, nothing quite so mouthy and despicable

Had something similar recently, just ignored it and enjoyed the rest of my day. Rubbish stuff happens in all aspects of life, ignoring it helps us live!

Agreed but I don't think you should just accept it when a car deliberately tried to bully or intimidate you for no reason other than the fact they can. And Tynan sad but true there are some real tools driving around east London

Helmet camera FTW. There's generally nothing you can about berks at the time, but it's strangely comforting knowing that it's on camera. I've had less verbal altercations with people since I've started using a camera, I now just point the camera out (which gets a far more amusing reaction than shouting could)
(It's also satisfying posting a clip and/or reporting it to the Police!)
