Recently thinking about getting back into some fun cycling probably next year now but just looking for which bike would suit my needs best has thrown up some questions, so found this place while looking for answers.

So I will probably have a good look round!

I'd suggest getting a bike ASAP and building up some cycling fitness through the autumn and winter so by the spring you would be ready to get stuck in and enjoy some longer rides.

Where are you from? I found that meeting up with other CycleChat members in my area gets me out when I otherwise wouldn't be bothered. I've met over 70 CC members so far and they have all been good people to ride with.

Am from Dewsbury w. yorkshire.

As for getting a bike asap might be a problem with funds what with xmas coming etc however, am not sure if theres deals to be had through winter when i finally decide on the type of bike I want to go for.
