Hi everyone

New member - first post. Me and my trusty Ribble endurance SL disc (Shimano 105 gear set) have promised ourselves a wheels upgrade and being vain as well as performance driven have decided some flash looking carbon wheels would tick the box. Budget of sub £1000 - where would the community recommend I start? And is this the right choice of wheel at all???

BTW complete chat thread and forum novice so apologies if this is perfectly answered somewhere already. Please simply point me the way

Thanks

Welcome Crispin. Just how flash are you looking for? Branded or bespoke?

My son races on wheels from Zed and also NR6 - both of these will do wheels to your design if you wish. He used to be sponsored by NR6 and an image of a bespoke track wheelset is below with his name and flag built into the wheel. Note that he's not had issues with Zed and them flexing as he's 53kg but heavier riders have commented.

Alternatively you could go mainstream and get a set from DT Swiss (I have those and like them), Zipp, Cero (I bought a set yesterday) or others.
