I just saw an ad on the banner here when not logged in for beats at toontrack. I know there used to be (still are?) some musos on here...I am using Toontracks EZ Drummer drum kit from hell...into reaper...wow! ...how easy is it now to get really great sounding Metal drums....cant recommend them enough...if only they had been available 20 years ago

I use Guitar Pro 6, and can heartily recommend it to anyone writing or learning to play music, be it lead, rhythm or BASS (real) guitar

Is that all you get. a CD download ? Looks like it comes in at 6 different drum sounds at $30 a go = $180 ?

Anyone use a Korg synth ?

I m after this though not sure if I have the kit to get it coming out of my loudspeakers

Nah... I have loads of kits...loops, beats , fills, and I can split each mic down to different tracks and re mix the kit any how I like...overheads , room mics the works...and its so easy to use...also has a neat humanizing feature which i leave on all th etime...as well as tempo changes etc...you can use the on board loops, sounds or use th emidi programmer thingy to create your own unique sounds and patterns etc.

I bought th eEZ drummer from sweetwater on a special deal at $29 (it's ended now so its up to $79 but I know they have deals often so may pay to keep an eye on their page)) then added the drums from hell from them as well..$39.99.

I had guita rpro once but I could neve rget my tone out of it...great tool for learning etc..but I went back to a full valve marshall rig for live stuff and a basic pod 1 origional to record with...
