Just thinking the new season will be on us soon. A few tweaks to the rules, but nothing major. The one change that may confuse is Lotus changing to Caterham and Renault changing to Lotus with both of them being powered by Renault.

ETA: Title is a bit out of date has been changed now ;) .... not sure what happened in that season.

Ill be following Button with interest:thumbsup:

This year will be only half the season it was as I refuse to line Mr Murdoch's coffers. Whether that makes it worth watching at all is TBD.

gave up watching f1 a few seasons back , it just doesnt hit the spot anymore

Will it be the usual procession with the usual suspects at the front?

It's no longer exciting.

NormanD's excitement is more justified. I just might haul my ass to a speedway race this year for the first time in ages.

That's Boadicea in old money

Calling F1 boring and then extolling the "virtues" of Speedway is a bit rich. That's the most tedious form of motorsport I've ever seen, apart from trials riding.

It is on both Sky & the beeb.

Of the 20 races, BBC will be showing 10 live and highlights of the other 10.

I will still fall asleep after 10 laps , i always try and stay awake but heater on , full of Sunday dinner and nothing but relaxation i always fall asleep and wake for the end , it must be an age thing

A race in speedway is a short intensive bout of excitement.

An F1 race is a protracted trial of my ability to stay awake.

Shame its moved to Sky as I am not paying extra to watch it. I hope either Button gets back on top or Mark Webber. I thought the BBC where only showing the British GP live.
