I no longer follow F1

In F1 they seem to overtake each other only by using pit stops, rather than by actually outracing each other. And once they start doing pit stops I can't be bothered to try to work out who is actually winning....

I much prefer World Superbikes and World Supersports, plus the British Superbikes. Lots of actual overtaking, and the guy who is in the lead is actually in the lead!

The use of KERS & DRS helped a lot of overtaking on the track last year.

Aaaah yes, no overtaking. I recall Button winning at Canada in 2011, he overtook 34 other cars to finish first.

No Sky here so my long time following of F1 ends this year. I'll watch what I can but I won't be able to "follow" it in the same way.

BBC coverage last year was HD, by the way, for the poster who thought Sky were bringing that to the party.

I don't really care any longer, the racing's dull and if F1 wishes to prostitute itself to Murdoch's shitbox, then good riddance.

I am actually getting quite sad thinking that I will not be getting up early in to watch the start of the season in a couple of Sunday's time.

I wish I could afford it but 40 quid a month for the 10 races I'd be watching in a year can't be justified

Is there any way to watch, live, online? I know friends who have watched footy that way.

you can watch streams from other countries broadcasts, generally the quality is pretty poor and the commentary may not be in english. This was always a laugh when watching south american football because of the commentators over reaction when a goal was scored. I wonder if it is the same in f1. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVERTAKE!

I'm with you on this one buddy ;)

Which made it all a bit artificial because whoever was behind had the speed advantage leading to positions swapping then swapping back then swapping again.

Didn't really happen, except at one circuit where they had 2 DRS zones in almost consecutive straights. That one was a bit silly, but still couldn't work out why drivers went for the overtake at the first, knowing that they were going to be passed at the second. Why couldn't they just be patient?

I just read this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/7755219.stm

Does it say "full live coverage... online"?

For the difference live coverage makes BBC coverage for all the races will be fine.... I used to record them to watch at a time to suit me anyway....

Who actually wants to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning to watch the SKY live races anyway? Ridiculous! ....
