Facebook have called a special mobile event for today at their HQ. It's rumoured that Erick Tseng, head of their mobile division, will announce the Facebook Phone. This is believed to be an android phone with Facebook branding plus extra tweaks to improve the Facebook experience. Would you buy one? Is Facebook important to you?

Of course he may just announce that they've upgraded their mobile clients and, in the case of the WM one, made them work properly....

Yep they didn't announce it.

That's what happened with the Google phone about a year before the Nexus One arrived though......

I think it's different. Phones now are starting to integrate facebook into them as standard. The new windows phone has it all built into the phone, rather than an APP...as long as facebook has that sort of hold they're fine.
