Is there an App for my mobile phone ?

On the bus this morning and at a stop there boards an old lady talking on her mobile phone. She sits down a couple of rows in front of me and continues to speak rather loudly AND has the phone on loudspeaker so I can hear both sides of the conversation.
My devious mind is wondering if there is an app or perhaps already an inbuilt function whereby I could use my phone to gather the sounds, add a slight delay and then output that recording. This would confuse the hell out of the offending party until they grasped what is going on. It could be fun 👏

Any suggestions ?

An idea, but…. that would bring attention to me. My aim would be to draw attention to the noisy miscreant and perhaps bring some amusement to fellow passengers at the same time.

If the delay was quite short you could mKe it hard for her to speak. I've found on conference calls if I get delayed feedback of my own voice I just can't talk at all. It does my nut in.

If the lady was talking loudly to her friend sitting in the seat next to her would it be any different? There were a couple near me on the train yesterday and she was rather loud. He had earbuds in and often didn't hear what she was saying so she had to repeat herself. I was rather pleased when they got off.

Don't they use that technique at football grounds when unsavoury chants start? The sound's projected back at the crowd with a slight delay..
Maybe a miniature version of that could work.

Or just accidentally trip as you walk past and knock her phone out of the window...

Did that back in the 80s. Recorded another student snoring at a residential retreat. Then put tape recorder under their bed on play the next night. When they complained about the snoring 😂
